The latest addition to our protein shake recipes was inspired by an earlier experiment, the Black and Blue Flip. We liked the last flip so much that we thought we’d try another flip protein shake recipe. Why not make a flip PROGENEX shake? For those of you that don’t spend much time at the bar, a flip is an alcoholic drink mixed with an egg to froth it up. Of course, we didn’t make ours with alcohol…initially.
- 3 scoops PROGENEX Tropical Vanilla Recovery
- 6 oz Coconut Milk
- 8 oz XS Energy Drink – Wild Berry (or your energy drink of choice)
- 1 glass Crushed Ice
- 1 TBSP Coconut Oil
- 1/2 cup Blueberries
- 1 Egg White
Don’t be like us and be sure to get only the egg white. It’s still good with the whole egg, but even better if you can stick with the white only!
We think of ourselves as somewhat creative but we’re probably not nearly as creative as you, so send us your #PROGENEFIED recipes. We only ask that it doesn’t contain poison or low quality protein, which are one in the same ![]()

While confined in that awkwardly narrow space, real women are bombarded by an endless array of rail thin waifs. Each picture presenting its lady as the very definition of beautiful. The media has declared that this is what real beauty looks like. They have found their story and they are running with it. But are they right? Is this look realistic for most women? More importantly, is it even safe for most women?
Fashion Has Lost Touch With The Real World
The word circling the internet is that most fashion designers now consider a size 6 woman to be “Plus Sized.” This declaration has started a fury of conversation about what is realistic, safe and attractive for women today. According to ABC News, twenty years ago there was an 8% disparity between the average woman and the average fashion model. Today that disparity is a whopping 23%. The women you see on the runway are not the same women you see at work, at the park or in your local fitness facility. Read the rest of this entry »

“My diet’s not the best, but it works for me.” – 2011 CrossFit Games Winner Rich Froning Jr
Yes, whatever is in the Rich Froning Jr Diet seems to be working. Froning was a rope climb away from winning the 2010 CrossFit Games, and he followed that narrow miss with a dominating victory in the 2011 CrossFit Games.
